Privacy and Alumni Collection Notice
Alumni Relations, the Development Office and the Old Boys’ Union are committed to providing the highest level of integrity in dealing with all those who interact with us.
The following information is of particular note to our alumni: Alumni Relations, the Development Office and/or Old Boys’ Union may collect personal information about you from time to time.
The primary purpose of collecting this information is to enable us to inform you about our activities and the activities of The Scots College (the College) and to keep alumni members informed about other members. The Scots College must have the information referred to above to enable us to continue your membership of the Old Boys’ Union.
As you know, from time to time we engage in fundraising activities. The information received from you may also be used to make an appeal to you. It may also be used by the College to assist in its fundraising activities. If you do not agree to this, please write to the Alumni Relations Office (email@example.com) to request that we list you as a ‘do not contact’ member of the College’s community in our database.
Alumni Relations, the Development Office and/or Old Boys’ Union may publish details about you in publications including, but not limited to, The Lion & Lang Syne and online on the Old Boys’ Union website or the College’s website (scotsoldboys.tsc.nsw.edu.au, tsc.nsw.edu.au)
You may seek access to personal information collected about you by contacting the Alumni Relations Office (firstname.lastname@example.org). If you provide personal information to us about other people, we encourage you to inform them that you have provided this information. College internet and email activity is periodically analysed to verify security and system maintenance. This analysis is only used for internal purposes.
