On Tuesday 27 August 2019, the NSW Independent Planning Commission approved the College’s State Significant Development application to renovate the Stevenson Library.

This means that the College can now work with building contractors to determine the most efficient timetable for works to commence. At this point it would seem most likely that preparations can begin immediately, with demolition occurring during the Summer school holidays.
